Consiliul Concurenței: mărcile proprii câștigă teren pe piața locală

Ponderea mărcilor proprii în România a crescut semnificativ în ultimii ani, ajungând anul acesta la 30,2% din totalul produselor, cu un avans de 2,8 puncte procentuale față de 2021. Produsele alimentare cu marcă proprie au ajuns la 33,8%, iar în general acestea depășesc media din țările în care activează grupurile românești.

Cu o pondere în creștere, produsele românești reprezintă acum 52,1% din piața totală, iar în domeniul alimentelor această proporție ajunge la 56,1%, influențată și de perisabilitatea produselor. În schimb, produsele de marcă proprie străine rămân puțin mai numeroase decât cele românești în ansamblul produselor.

Alba24.ro citează analiza Consiliului Concurenței, care subliniază că mărcile proprii oferă retailerilor o flexibilitate mai mare în adaptarea la inflație și respectarea plafonării adaosurilor. Totuși, această creștere poate afecta producătorii independenți, reducându-le motivația de a inova pe măsură ce retailerii domină piața.

Raportul mai arată că adaosurile practicate au crescut în ultimii ani, mai ales în 2023, din cauza costurilor logistice ridicate. Produsele de marcă proprie au, de regulă, prețuri și adaosuri mai mici în categoriile de bază, însă la nivel general adaosurile pot fi mai mari. Astfel, retailerii compensează scăderile pentru produsele alimentare uzuale prin adaosuri mai mari la alte categorii.
