Guvernul reduce la 90.000 contingentul pentru muncitorii străini în 2026

Autoritățile au hotărât să limiteze numărul maxim de lucrători străini angajați în România în 2026 la 90.000 de permise de muncă, față de 100.000 în 2025. Măsura a fost luată în cadrul Consiliului Național Tripartit pentru Dialog Social, cu scopul de a favoriza cetățenii români pe piața muncii.

Ministrul Muncii, Florin Manole, explică decizia: „Având în vedere că în calcul pentru salariul minim ne-a spus, printre altele, Institutul Național de Statistică, faptul că există posibilitatea de a avea un anumit număr de disponibilizări în anul viitor, eu am considerat de cuviință ca în anticiparea acestor probleme sociale să avem cât mai multe locuri de muncă disponibile pentru cetățenii români”.

Mediul de afaceri a cerut majorarea contingentului până la 150.000 de permise pentru 2026, dar propunerea a fost respinsă. Blocul Național Sindical a criticat patronatele, notând că acestea au susținut înghețarea salariului minim, dar au cerut creșterea numărului muncitorilor străini, în ciuda propunerii Ministerului Muncii de reducere la 75.000.

Conform informațiilor preluate de alba24.ro, Blocul Național Sindical a transmis că patronatele au invocat necesitatea unei forțe de muncă suplimentare ce nu poate fi asigurată din resursele interne, în contextul unei economii presate de restructurări. Aceasta a dus la menținerea unui număr limitat de permise pentru lucrătorii din afara Uniunii Europene.
