România are depozitele de gaze umplute aproape în totalitate pentru iarna 2024

Ciclul de injecție a gazelor în depozitele subterane s-a încheiat oficial vineri, 31 octombrie, marcând începutul sezonului rece gazier. Din 1 noiembrie, gazele stocate pot fi extrase dacă vremea rece va impune această necesitate. Extragerile pot începe și mai devreme, dacă consumul nu poate fi acoperit de producția și importurile curente.

Conform datelor centralizate de operatorii europeni din domeniu, România dispune de aproximativ 3,2 miliarde metri cubi de gaze stocate, ceea ce reprezintă un grad de umplere de 99%. Această poziționare o plasează pe locul doi în Europa, după Polonia, care are depozitele umplute în proporție de 100,5%, o particularitate tehnică ce permite depășirea capacității totale.

România respectă cerințele Comisiei Europene, care solicită un grad minim de umplere de 99% pentru sezonul rece, astfel că țara nu ar trebui să întâmpine dificultăți în aprovizionare, nici în cazul unei ierni aspre. Din depozite pot fi extrase zilnic până la 25-26 milioane de metri cubi de gaze, iar importurile pot asigura încă 24 milioane metri cubi pe zi.

Potrivit alba24.ro, reglementările Uniunii Europene obligă statele membre să asigure rezerve de gaze naturale pentru sezonul rece, iar România îndeplinește aceste condiții prin eforturile Guvernului și ale Transgaz. Gaze naturale sunt depozitate în foste zăcăminte epuizate, unde ele sunt reintroduse vara și extrase iarna, asigurând continuitatea furnizării.
