18 ferme din Alba și alte județe vor deveni ferme model pentru protecția mediului

Ministerul Mediului, Apelor și Pădurilor a anunțat selecția a 18 ferme mixte din Alba și alte județe pentru a deveni ferme model, beneficiind de investiții dedicate protecției apelor și solului. Aceste demersuri fac parte din proiectul UMP-RAPID, finanțat prin scheme de granturi pentru ferme demonstrative.

Fermele selectate provin din Alba, Bistrița-Năsăud, Brașov, Covasna, Harghita, Satu Mare, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea și Vrancea și vor primi finanțări de peste 3 milioane de euro dintr-un împrumut BIRD. Scopul este reducerea poluării cu nitrați și amoniac prin implementarea unor soluții nove.

În cadrul acestui proiect, fermele obțin statutul de „ferme model” și vor face parte din rețele de transfer de cunoștințe, având misiunea de a susține alte comunități rurale prin sesiuni de instruire și schimburi de experiență. Extinderea rețelei îmbunătățește sustenabilitatea agriculturii locale și contribuie la dezvoltarea unor practici eficiente.

Potrivit alba24.ro, „fermierii sunt partenerii noștri direcți în lupta pentru protejarea solului și a apelor. Extinderea rețelei de ferme model înseamnă că tot mai multe comunități rurale vor beneficia de soluții moderne, sustenabile și adaptate nevoilor lor”, a declarat ministra Diana Buzoianu în comunicatul oficial.
