Compania MVM din Ungaria negociază achiziția diviziei E.ON din România

Compania ungurească MVM, cu capital majoritar de stat, ar putea prelua divizia de furnizare de gaze și energie electrică a companiei germane E.ON, care operează în România. Informațiile au fost confirmate de surse oficiale pentru publicațiile G4Media și Economedia.

E.ON Energie România face parte din Grupul german E.ON și se numără printre cei mai mari furnizori de gaze și electricitate din țară, având un portofoliu de aproximativ 3,4 milioane de clienți. MVM, o companie strategică pentru Ungaria, a mai achiziționat anterior alte companii străine, inclusiv portofoliul local al E.ON în Ungaria, în anul 2022.

Pentru ca tranzacția să se finalizeze, aceasta va avea nevoie de aprobarea instituțiilor statului român. Se estimează că anunțul oficial cu privire la această achiziție va fi făcut în câteva luni. De asemenea, interes pentru divizia E.ON din România au manifestat și alte companii, precum Romgaz și OMV Petrom.
