Retragerea fondurilor de la Pilonul II de pensii: reguli și informații utile

Participanții la Pilonul II de pensii din România pot solicita retragerea banilor acumulați doar după atingerea vârstei de pensionare. Este important de menționat că nu este posibilă scoaterea fondurilor în cazul pensionării anticipate.

Contribuția la acest sistem de pensii reprezintă un procent din salariul brut, în prezent stabilit la 4,75%. După pensionare, cotizația la Pilonul II se oprește automat, însă pensionarii au opțiunea de a lăsa banii în fond pentru a continua investițiile. Acest lucru înseamnă că fondurile pot rămâne în cont pentru a beneficia de randamente, chiar dacă nu mai sunt efectuate contribuții suplimentare.

Radu Craciun, președintele Asociației pentru Pensiile Administrate Privat din România (APAPR), a declarat pentru ZF că „în momentul în care participantul nu mai încasează venituri de natură salarială, nu i se mai rețin taxe și impozite din salariu. Prin urmare, nici nu i se mai vârte contribuții în contul său individual de Pilon II.” El adaugă că „chiar dacă nu mai contribuie cu sume noi lunar, banii acumulați până în acel moment sunt în continuare investiți cu scopul de a spori economiile participantului.”

Pilonul II de pensii este un sistem de pensii private obligatorii, introdus în România în cadrul reformei sistemului de pensii din 2008. Acesta completează sistemul public de pensii (Pilonul I) și face parte dintr-o structură de pensii în trei piloni. O parte din contribuțiile la asigurările sociale, colectate din salariul brut al fiecărui angajat, este direcționată către un fond privat de pensii.

Fondurile din Pilonul II sunt gestionate de administratori privați autorizați, care investesc aceste sume pe piețele financiare pentru a genera randamente. Spre deosebire de Pilonul I, unde contribuțiile sunt folosite imediat pentru plata pensiilor existente, sumele acumulate în Pilonul II aparțin fiecărui participant și pot fi retrase la momentul pensionării.
