Controale inopinate la service-uri auto de către Consiliul Concurenței

Consiliul Concurenței a demarat o serie de controale inopinate la opt service-uri auto, în cadrul unei investigații privind posibile nereguli în domeniul reparațiilor plătite prin asigurarea obligatorie de răspundere civilă (RCA). Aceste acțiuni au scopul de a verifica dacă există practici de concurență neloială, mai exact dacă unele service-uri profită de poziția superioară în negocierile cu companiile de asigurări.

Autoritățile au fost alertate de către Asigurarea Românească Asirom-Vienna Insurance Group SA, ceea ce a dus la declanșarea analizei. Potrivit legislației în vigoare, asigurătorii RCA sunt obligați să despăgubească persoanele afectate de accidente prin achitarea costurilor reparațiilor efectuate de service-urile auto. În acest context, s-a constatat că unii servicii auto ar putea percepe tarife nejustificat de mari, ceea ce afectează prețul polițelor RCA.

„Vrem să stabilim dacă unele service-uri auto impun tarife nejustificat de mari, pe care companiile de asigurare sunt obligate legal să le plătească, tarife care, ulterior, conduc la creșterea prețului poliței RCA”, a declarat Bogdan Chiritoiu, președintele Consiliului Concurenței.

Printre companiile supuse inspecțiilor se numără: Adely Trans Company SRL, Ali Car Reparatii Auto SRL, Prof's Solution Service SRL, Top Lac Service Cotroceni SRL, Auto Klasen SRL, Auto Hoff Technology SRL, Top Lac Auto Service SRL și Damar Colision SRL. Aceste controale au fost autorizate de Curtea de Apel București pentru a permite obținerea informațiilor și documentelor necesare clarificării posibilelor practici de concurență neloială.

Este important de menționat că aceste inspecții nu constituie o prezumție de vinovăție pentru companiile investigate. În cazul în care Consiliul Concurenței va găsi dovezi ale încălcărilor normelor de concurență, companiile implicate se pot confrunta cu amenzi de până la 500.000 lei. De asemenea, autoritatea poate impune măsuri pentru a interzice continuarea acestor practici. Dacă persoanele fizice sau juridice recunosc că au desfășurat activități de concurență neloială, acestea pot beneficia de reduceri semnificative ale amenzilor.
