Guvernul negociază un împrumut de 500 milioane de euro pentru autostrada Sibiu-Pitești

Guvernul României a aprobat în ședința de joi demararea negocierilor pentru contractarea unui împrumut de 500 de milioane de euro de la Banca Europeană de Investiții (BEI). Suma va finanța contribuția de la bugetul de stat pentru implementarea proiectului Autostrada A1 Sibiu-Pitești, care are o lungime totală de 122,11 km.

Autostrada Sibiu-Pitești, prima care traversează Munții Carpați, a fost aprobată prin H.G. nr. 196/2019 și este finanțată prin Programul Operațional Infrastructură Mare 2014-2020 și Programul Transport 2021-2027. Execuția a început în martie 2020, iar termenul estimat de finalizare este trimestrul IV 2028.

Împrumutul de 500 milioane de euro va acoperi deficitul bugetului de stat creat pe parcursul realizării proiectului. Conform alba24.ro, o finanțare totală de până la 1.000 milioane euro a fost aprobată de Consiliul de Administrație al BEI, structurată prin două contracte de împrumut care urmează a fi semnate în octombrie 2025 respectiv în prima parte a anului 2026.

Ministerul Transporturilor și Infrastructurii rămâne responsabil de implementarea proiectului, iar CNAIR asigură gestionarea efectivă a lucrărilor. Valoarea totală a fondurilor externe nerambursabile este de aproximativ 1,83 miliarde euro, iar diferența este acoperită de la bugetul național, notează documentele oficiale ale Guvernului.
