Obligație nouă pentru firmele cu peste 50 de angajați începând cu 1 ianuarie 2025

Începând cu 1 ianuarie 2025, companiile din România cu mai mult de 50 de angajați și cu cifre de afaceri ce depășesc 50 de milioane de lei vor fi obligate să întocmească rapoarte de sustenabilitate. Această măsură face parte dintr-o directivă a Uniunii Europene care se aplică pentru peste 5.000 de firme românești.

Deja, de la 1 ianuarie 2024, este în vigoare o obligație similară pentru companiile cu peste 500 de angajați. Conform estimărilor, în Romania, aproximativ 5.300 de companii vor fi nevoite să întocmească aceste rapoarte de sustenabilitate începând din anul următor, informează Termene.ro.

Rapoartele vor fi publicate în anul 2026, iar de la 1 ianuarie 2026, aceleași cerințe vor fi aplicate și pentru IMM-urile listate la bursă. Directiva de raportare corporativă în domeniul sustenabilității (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive - CSRD) acoperă un spectru larg de teme, cum ar fi drepturile de mediu, drepturile sociale, respectul drepturilor omului, factorii de guvernanță, modelul de afaceri, precum și indicatorii de performanță non-financiară.

Un aspect important al acestei directivede este transparența informațiilor, care va permite accesul mai facil la date esențiale, spre deosebire de anii anteriori, când informațiile erau disponibile doar prin intermediul Registrului Comerțului, contra cost. Parlamentul European a adoptat această directivă în noiembrie 2022, având codul CSRD (COM/2021/189). Detalii suplimentare referitoare la directivă pot fi consultate online.
