Programul Golden Visa: investitorii străini pot primi permis de ședere temporară în România

O inițiativă legislativă înregistrată la Senat prevede că cetățenii străini care investesc minimum 400.000 de euro în România pot obține un permis de ședere temporară valabil 5 ani, cu posibilitate de reînnoire. Proiectul se adresează persoanelor din țări din afara UE, SEE sau Elveția.

Permisul poate include și membrii familiei investitorului, iar investițiile eligibile sunt stabilite de Ministerul Economiei și Ministerul Afacerilor Interne. Dacă investiția este retrasă înainte de 5 ani, permisul poate fi revocat, cu excepția cazului în care se înlocuiește cu o investiție egală în termen de 60 de zile.

Inițiatorul proiectului, senatorul PNL Glad Varga, a subliniat pe Facebook: „Vorbim despre rezidență, nu cetățenie. Despre bani reali, investiți în proiecte reale, cu impact în comunități. (…) România câștigă capital privat pentru proiecte productive, locuri de muncă și venituri bugetare.” Alba24.ro notează că această măsură are scopul de a atrage capital nou care să susțină dezvoltarea economică și urbană.

Parlamentarii PNL care susțin proiectul menționează că astfel de programe există și în alte țări europene, având scopul de a atrage investiții și locuri de muncă. Glad Varga a punctat: „Noi alegem o variantă responsabilă, cu filtre clare și focus pe economia reală, nu pe specula imobiliară”, potrivit alba24.ro.
