Lucrările de pe segmentul Suplacu de Barcau - Chiribis al autostrăzii A3 Transilvania au atins un stadiu de progres de 12,75%, anunță directorul CNAIR, Cristian Pistol. Potrivit acestuia, pe cei 26,35 km, antreprenorul român Constructii Erbasu a mobilizat 521 de muncitori și 280 de utilaje pentru continuarea construcției. Lucrările au început în data de 20 ianuarie 2025, iar termenul de finalizare este stabilit în 18 luni.

Conform notează alba24.ro, șeful CNAIR detailedază că acest proiect, finanțat prin Programul Transport 2021-2027, are o valoare de 884,12 milioane de lei fără TVA. Potrivit lui Cristian Pistol, termenul pentru finalizarea lucrărilor este în 2026, iar antreprenorul are la dispoziție această perioadă pentru a duce la bun sfârșit toate etapele construcției.

Tronsonul include unul dintre cele mai mari viaducte din Europa, situat în localitatea Suplacu de Barcau, județul Bihor. Acesta are o lungime de 1,65 km și este construit peste lacul de acumulare din zonă. La începuturile proiectului, în 2004, lucrările au fost începute de americanii de la Bechtel, însă acestea au fost suspendate în 2013, iar contractul a fost reziliat. După reluarea lucrărilor în ianuarie 2025, șantierul a fost redeschis și are ca termen de finalizare anul 2026, conform informațiilor transmise de sursă.

Pe acest lot sunt planificate trei viaducte, opt pasaje și opt poduri. Potrivit autorităților, în prezent, pe segmentul Suplacu de Barcau - Chiribis se lucrează la infrastructură, inclusiv la cele mai mari structuri de susținere. Sectorul București-Ploiești, de 65 km, a fost deschis în totalitate în 2018, iar secțiunea Ploiești-Brașov, de 106 km, este încă în curs de construcție. Traseul Târgu Mureș - Gilău, de 103 km, a fost complet deschis în 2023, conform aceluiași sursă.
