Sute de alerte europene pentru produse cosmetice vândute în România

Începând cu anul 2023, InfoCons a raportat sute de alerte europene privind produse cosmetice disponibile pe piața românească. Aceste alerte se referă la o varietate de produse, inclusiv șampoane, săpunuri, parfumuri, loțiuni de corp și aftershave. Problema principală constă în prezența substanței periculoase 2-(4-tert-butilbenzil) propionaldehidă (BMHCA), care este interzisă în produsele cosmetice.

BMHCA este cunoscută pentru efectele negative asupra sănătății, având potențialul de a afecta sistemul reproductiv, de a dăuna sănătății copilului nenăscut și de a provoca reacții alergice pe piele. Aceste produse sunt disponibile atât în magazinele din România, cât și în online.

Conform statisticilor furnizate de InfoCons, în perioada de la începutul anului și până în prezent, au fost identificate un total de 953 de alerte legate de produse cosmetice, care conțin această substanță interzisă. Alertele pot constitui un semnal de alarmă pentru consumatori să fie atenți la produsele pe care le achiziționează și să verifice ingredientele acestora înainte de utilizare.
