Carrefour România, în proces de vânzare a tuturor supermarketurilor din țară

Retailerul francez Carrefour intenționează să își vândă toate magazinele din România și a desemnat banca BNP Paribas să evalueze interesul potențialilor cumpărători, scrie L’Informe. În Alba există patru magazine, inclusiv un supermarket în Carolina Mall și un magazin express în fața Spitalului Județean Alba Iulia.

Decizia de vânzare intervine pe fondul unor politici guvernamentale restrictive aplicate sectorului comercial, cu măsuri de plafonare a adaosurilor comerciale la numeroase produse, implementate de guvernele Ciucă, Ciolacu și Bolojan în ultimii doi ani și jumătate. De asemenea, retailerii trebuie să comercializeze o proporție mai mare de produse locale.

În trimestrul al treilea, Carrefour România a raportat o creștere modestă de 0,2% a vânzărilor like-for-like, până la 773 milioane euro, reflectând impactul măsurilor de austeritate asupra consumatorilor. Pentru primele nouă luni, compania a înregistrat vânzări de 2,2 miliarde euro, cu un avans de 1,9%, potrivit economedia.ro, care citează această evoluție financiară.

Conform alba24.ro, mișcarea face parte dintr-un plan mai amplu de restructurare internațională a Carrefour, ce include și încetarea activității în Argentina și Polonia. Recent, grupul francez și-a retras prezența din Italia, vânzând rețeaua de 1.200 magazine către New-Princes Group. În Polonia și Argentina, vânzările sunt gestionate de JP Morgan și Deutsche Bank.
