DN Agrar și BSOG Energy semnează un acord pentru cel mai mare proiect de biometan din România

DN Agrar, lider în producția de lapte în România, și BSOG Energy, companie specializată în dezvoltarea proiectelor de biometan, au anunțat semnarea unui parteneriat pentru realizarea celui mai mare proiect de acest tip din țară. Proiectul va avea o capacitate totală de până la 15 MW și va necesita o investiție de peste 30 de milioane de euro.

Conform informațiilor furnizate de DN Agrar, compania va asigura materia primă necesară pentru producția de biometan printr-un contract pe termen lung, având scopul de a garanta sustenabilitatea inițiativei. Pe de altă parte, BSOG Energy va fi responsabilă pentru dezvoltarea infrastructurii necesare implementării proiectului.

Realizarea întregului proiect este estimată a dura mai mult de 2 ani de la semnarea acordului final. Veniturile anuale pentru DN Agrar sunt anticipate între 3 și 3,5 milioane de euro, pe baza unui contract valabil pe o perioadă de 15 ani.

Peter de Boer, Membru al Consiliului de Administrație și Manager de Relații Investitorilor la DN Agrar, a declarat: „Am inițiat acest proiect la începutul anului 2024 pentru a îndeplini obiectivele noastre de sustenabilitate și pentru a crea o nouă sursă de venituri, având în vedere că suntem cel mai mare producător de lapte din România. Parteneriatul cu BSOG, cunoscut pentru expertiza sa în proiecte din România, ne va ajuta să transformăm DN Agrar într-un lider în agricultura sustenabilă. Ne propunem să reducem emisiile de carbon din activitățile noastre curente cu până la 90%, folosind gunoiul de grajd provenit de la fermele noastre pentru producția de biometan, generând astfel oportunități economice și locuri de muncă. Proiectele noastre, incluzând fabrica de compost și energia solară, ne vor conduce către emisii aproape de zero, sprijinind astfel dezvoltarea activității noastre de bază.”
