An entitled traveler forced a Delta plane to return to the gate because she refused to hang up her phone before takeoff — prompting outraged passengers to chant, “Get off the plane.”  Shannon Marie Harris, 46, was asked by flight attendants to end her phone call after boarding a Delta Air Lines flight from Miami International Airport to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday, April 27. A traveler on board captured the moment dozens of travelers groaned in unison after the pilot’s announcement that they would all have to deboard. As frustration boiled over, passengers began chanting “Get off the plane” at Harris, footage shows. “So we’re all supposed to listen and doesn’t?” one flyer asked aloud. “Please be considerate,” another chided.
