TRANSAVIA lansează cea mai mare fabrică de hrană pentru animale din România

TRANSAVIA își extinde activitatea prin deschiderea celei mai mari fabrici de hrană pentru animale de companie din țară, un pas strategic ce completează modelul integrat 100% al companiei. Noua linie de producție va transforma subprodusele puilor în hrană nutritivă pentru câini și pisici, reducând astfel risipa alimentară.

Fabrica, amplasată în Ciugud, județul Alba, va avea o suprafață de 65.000 mp și o capacitate anuală de hrănire a peste 11 milioane de animale. Investiția de 763 milioane lei este realizată integral din fonduri proprii, iar producția va începe în a doua jumătate a anului 2026, după instalarea și testarea echipamentelor.

„Această extindere nu este doar o investiție într-o fabrică, ci este o investiție în viitorul sustenabil al unei economii care poate și trebuie să producă valoare la cel mai înalt nivel”, afirmă Ioan Popa, Președinte TRANSAVIA. Potrivit alba24.ro, noua unitate va fi complet automatizată și dotată cu tehnologii moderne pentru eficiență energetică şi reducerea emisiilor.

Divizia de hrană pentru animale va contribui semnificativ la creșterea EBITA a companiei și va susține economia locală prin crearea de locuri de muncă și implicarea producătorilor locali. „Produsele vor fi dezvoltate pe baze științifice și vor oferi hrană sigură, nutritivă și gustoasă pentru „familia extinsă” a TRANSAVIA”, explică Theodora Popa-Liteanu, Vicepreședinte al companiei.
