Zeci de furnizori de energie sancționați de ANPC pentru nereguli

Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC) a aplicat sancțiuni severe unui număr mare de furnizori de energie electrică, depășind suma de 500.000 de lei în amenzi. Aceste acțiuni au fost realizate în contextul unor controale desfășurate între 23 septembrie și 4 octombrie 2024, având ca scop verificarea respectării reglementărilor legale în domeniul furnizării energiei electrice.

Din cei 111 furnizori verificați, au fost identificate nereguli în cazul a 39 dintre aceștia. Problema principală a fost legată de neemiterea facturilor, perioadele de facturare și informarea insuficientă a clienților, care au dus la neconformități în 187 de contracte/servicii, dintre care 56 prezentau abateri.

Conform raportului ANPC, au fost aplicate 42 de amenzi contravenționale în valoare totală de 518.000 de lei. În plus, au fost emise 14 avertismente și au fost impuse 7 măsuri complementare, care includ remedierea site-urilor și încetarea practicilor comerciale incorecte.

Sebastian Hotca, președintele interimar al ANPC, a subliniat importanța acestor acțiuni, afirmând: "Aceste acțiuni de control subliniază angajamentul ferm al ANPC de a proteja drepturile consumatorilor în relația cu furnizorii de energie. Este inacceptabil ca interesele economice ale consumatorilor să fie afectate de astfel de practici. Vom continua să veghem asupra corectitudinii furnizării serviciilor esențiale, asigurându-ne că legislația este respectată și abaterile sancționate."
